ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATE AND POLLINATOR PROTECTOR
The vision of the University of Maryland Extension is that of a healthier world through environmental stewardship. As a UME Baltimore City Master Gardener and Co-Chair of the Pollinator Committee, I educate residents about safe, effective and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities. In my role as "Butterfly Betty", I lecture and lead workshops in best gardening practices and pollinator awareness to adults and children.
